Honestly, out of all the shows I've gone to this year, I've seen The Format twice and it has been the best live show I've ever seen. They come on with a full orchestra, strings horns, the whole deal. The tour I just saw them on was with Steel Train (another musically gifted band), Limbeck, The Honorary Title and Rubin's Accomplice w/ an appearance by Mike Berbiglia who was hilarious, and it all made for a seriously great show. The best part may have been their last song, a cover of a Van Morrison tune in which they brought members of each band on stage to participate. They were flawless, I highly recommend seeing them live if you have the means.
Did anyone else catch a leg of this, or any previous tour of The Format?

I missed this past tour by them, but I have seen them live before.... They are amazing!!! Check them out if you havent.

i love their music, but i have never been able to catch them live. i will though.

oh man, yea. The Format is great! SOO rediculously pop-y haha.

They're playing here in a week or two and hopefully I can scrounge up the money to attend, because I would love to see them live.
