How Did He/They Come Up With The Band Name "Armor For Sleep"

Does Ben really enjoy being with Armor For Sleep and touring to see the thousands of fans that adore him,PeterJames,Nash,and Tone?

Is he ever afraid in the middle of a song that he's gonna blank out n forget the words.

How does he manage to play and sing at the same time? I've tried many times and I can't do it unless 1.) the guitar bit I'm playing is like super-simple or 2.) the tunes are extremely similar, and even then my vocals sound wayyy worse than when I'm just singing.

Im not sure if this is really a question but i wonder if Ben remembers most of the people he meets...

Is there any meaning behind Armor For Sleep?

Yes and no. I think the most important meaning behind the name is people are still asking that question. I think that I wanted a name that could mean a lot of different things, and I think it served its purpose because people always seem to be scratching their head at the name. Armor For Sleep to me is about trading in security in life and just not caring, and I think that’s what being in a band is. Because you open yourself to a ridiculous life and to a lot of people being able to criticize something you poured your heart and soul into. I'm not trying to whine because I feel completely lucky and amazed that I have everything in my life, but at the same time there are really hard aspects of it that it's like I chose that path. I guess that’s what the name means.

i read once that they are called ARMOR FOR SLEEP
because ben was in a weird time in his life
and writing was his "armor" for sleep
because he wasn't sleeping at all..
but i'm sure it does have many reasons now.

I was at the TBS, Underoath, and AFS show last night .. and they were doing a song i've never heard and i'm pretty sure it said "you were born in new hampshire but you say you're from the OC" and I was wondering if that's a new song or if ben like added that into the song while they were doing it and what song it was!

I don't know, I've wondered about it a lot. Me and my friend can not figure it out. Ben has crazy ideas for things, yet they always make so much sense. Like how Armor For Sleep means protection from nightmares.

when playing a show do you look out to the crowd? if so, do you like seeing kids that are totally into it and singing every song or kids that just kinda stand there and try to be cool?

i ask this because im one of the kids at a show who just totally gets into you guys. im singing and screaming and everything and sometimes i get sh*t for being that way so i was wondering if you had a preference or cared...
