ReD
I had my first Semi-Formal this past saturday.
After my panic of realizing that none of the fourteen people
I hang out with would be going besides me, I didn't really think I'd enjoy it.
My date was my friend from another school. We get along really well and stuff, but I was a bit worried I wouldnt be able to keep up a conversation for four hours, and neither of us dance well enough to do that instead.
Well, it turned out being allot more fun then I expected.
Not only did I get to harrass my friend all night by dumping confetti down his shirt and in his hair (Ahahaha. it was sparkly) but several of his friends from my school where there, and they ended up helping me torture him.
I danced one dance the entire night; and it got interupted by my little sis.
Anyone have any funny storys about their semi-formals?
Mine arnt that funny at all; the ones they're funny to are my friends from school who get the jokes.
I'm just curious; it was fun.

Dances are fun... and they're so predictable that its comforting. There's always the make-out couple, the drunk kids, the crying girl, sweaty guy, crappy DJ, black lights, confetti, girls dressed for the remake of Showgirls, the nervous dancers, the vulgar dancers, the guy who desperately tries to break in to any dancing circle, and, of course, lots of angry faculty.

Let the good times roll...

Also, word to the wise, I always always always had more fun going with a group of fiends than with a date. Just FYI.

haha yeah dances are pretty fun with a group... at almost every dance i went to in high school, my friends and i would show up high or get high on the bleachers since it was always in the gym. we were such dumbasses.

Dances are the one thing I miss about high school.

My best friend and I love dancing, but the rest of our friends aren't huge dancers, so a lot of times (even as far back as middle school when we were only mildly acquainted -- I didn't even know her name then) it'd just be her and I dancing. One year she straight up slapped some kid across the face for asking a really simple question. I don't even remember what it was now. She meant it jokingly, but we were all hyped up and the side of his face was pretty damn red.

Ahaha! That'd be priceless.
One of the middle school dances we had,
it was almost over, and I was sitting down to get a drink.
We'll, my friends had gone off to the bathroom, so I was alone
for a bit.
The group of girls who wanted me dead where there, so I was a bit paranoid.
Bad timing for my friend Jimmy.
He came up to me from behind, and I had no idea who it was so I kicked back and ended up giving him a nosebleed.
