Okay, this thread is self explanatory. This thread is to discuss all the bands that will be present on the Projekt Revolution tour, as well as what everyone thinks of this highly anticipated summer tour. Large bands to perform include HIM, Mindless Self Indulgence, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Taking Back Sunday, Saosin, Madina Lake, and The Bled as well as few others I missed. I'll start the discussion with my thoughts:
I'm truly looking forward to Projekt Revolution to be able to see HIM again, since I only saw them once before for a quick set at Bamboozle, and it wasn't enough since they have a large influence on me. The other band I look forward to possibly the most of them all is the unique Mindless Self Indulgence who have one of the most interesting styles I've ever seen and I truly respect them for it. Between Mindless Self Indulgence, Pink Floyd, Nightwish, HIM, and The Ataris I gain almost all influence, so I'd really like to see another band of major influence to me live, especially since I can't see Pink Floyd live, and Nightwish I wouldn't see, even if I had the money to see them, with their original vocalist, so it would be different. Projekt Revolution should be interesting this year, and I really hope that HIM and Mindless Self Indulgence get decent time slots.

idk about him, but i do know that msi is headlining the second stage. hope that was some help
the only bands i want to see on this tour are saosin and the bled, and they are both on the second stage, so i will only need a lawn ticket. thank goodness because i can not afford the reserved seating ticket prices. i am glad i get to saosin again... ive never seen the bled yet.

I like most of the bands playing on this tour, so I'll probably end up going to the Chicago show.
The ticket prices are outrageous though.

i bet when they officially go on sale, they won't be so expensive.

I was at a HIM show once, and it unbelievable how many cigarettes he smokes while playing.
He finishes one then gets another. When he's talking you can't even hear what he is saying because he constantly has a cigarette in his mouth.

I went to one date already and got to see HIM and MSI, but no other bands because I was working The Street Network booth the rest of the time, but I enjoyed those two acts, so it wasn't too horrible I guess, although I guess it bothered me because I wasn't able to see any of the bands originally that were gonna be on Main Stage because WBR couldn't get a hold of tickets for me, so I had to borrow someones ticket so I could go see HIM. As for what people like about HIM, for me it would be the fact that they're a good goth band that has a bunch of pretty good songs, as well as an amazing vocalist who can sing at octaves lower than you should physically be able to go, and you can understand him, unlike most bands if they go that low it's by use of growling or something to that effect.
