Car Underwater
Williamsburg
Raindrops
Somebody Else's Arms

Remember To Feel Real
The End Of Fraud

yeah I can agree with you on some parts .Like its a new"Armor" but you know like any band , they always change their tune so they are updated with "other bands" Like look at Green day ; their older music is better than some of their new material. It's just the new advance of technology we have in society and we can create more musical edges now. But whatever I still enjoy Aromrs muisc.

It's just alot more bands are creating more music using better sound recording systems .Take for example ,Hellogoodbye, Sonny Moores new music , ummm who else can i neam Jerffrey Star. WE have a more advantaged technology .We have the abilty to mix rock with techno rythms incorporated.I worked in a recording studio for the summer and worked with Our lady peace, etc and basically we would help readjust tune and rthym , and help produce new sound waves on computer programs that are intergrated in the sound recordings.

That phrasing still doesn't quite match up with what you're describing, but I think I get what you were trying to say. It might help if you didn't reference horrible shit that I refuse to listen to.
I don't think Smile For the Camera is a very far cry from a lot of the stuff on this album and WTDWYAD. The styles are the same.
My Perfect AFS Setlist:
Snow Globe
All Warm
Stay on the Ground
Hold the Door
Somebody Else's Arms
Frost and Front Steps
Slip Like Space
Lullaby
That was really hard by the way. My perfect Armor set would hopefully be longer than 8 songs.

I think all of their albums are equally great in their own way.
Bands need to take risks sometime, because if they write about the same thing over and over, it gets old.
Plus, it's refreshing to hear his interpretation of present day issues, we need to be aware of what kind of world we live in.

But even though we need to know what kind of world we are living in, we have known since like forever.Artists get their inspiration from their own lives, and the lives around them .Aka -Rush , Green day , Tupac, like I can go on forever.AFS isn't the only band whose doing it.But like you said it's his own view of the present days issues. If you look at it from a theorcial view ,its the morality and ethical reasoning behind life and we have artists like AFS now emerging into that era of self realization and giving their own focal view of society. .............................................................. Do not ask me why I say that my professor in Ethical Issues in Media ; she was discussing about this last class.

You guys are speaking about "all" of Ben's life after death lyrics as if that's what all of his songs have been about. That was one album. And before that there was a different album with different lyrics. They don't really have a history of any kind of lyrics yet. They're relatively new. Let them feel themselves out as a band and hit their stride.

If you can't grasp Ben's viewpoint from the lyrics, then you need to brush up on your reading comp skills. I wouldn't expect anyone to pin down his exact feelings about anything, but you can definitely pick up not even a general view from his lyrics, but a slightly specific view. I don't know how Ben feels about it, you'd have to ask him, but as someone who writes I don't want to have to spell everything out or answer questions about what I write. I want people to figure things out for themselves.
