I discovered them because Nash used to have their song on his myspace. I looked into it, and discovered Jason Schwartzman is the singer. I really like the music I think you guys should check this band out if you haven't.

He also used to be the drummer in Phantom Planet ... but everyone knew that because of that damn California song from the OC.

You've never seen Rooney?! Crazy. They're pretty good live. I just saw them in September (I think) for the first time in a while and I'd forgotten how much fun they were to see. They played a good mix of new and old stuff. The first album stuff made me feel super old. :/ It's like shit, the first time I heard this song I was 18. Taylor is fucking ridiculously mesmerizing live.
