Okay, allot of you have obviously listened to them,
as they are on tour with Armor...
But is anyone besides me actualy a fan of them?
xD -laughs-

Out of their songs, I really like "MakeDamnSure" "WHats it feel like to be a ghost" "Liar" and...I forget the name of the other one. xD -not good with names-
I think the one song is called "You are so last summer" or something like that. Its been a while.

i used to like them, but now i don't.
"a decade under the influence" is still <3.
christeeena
none of the newer cds will be better than tell all your friends.
scouterdef

Used to be ... then they kicked Jesse Lacey out of the band, and then they did the Album 'Tell All Your Friends' and then after that, they kicked out John Nolan out ...

I used to be, not so much anymore ... and its three words, Taking Back Sunday. Its not all one word
armorforliz
"the ballad of sal villanueva" was a pretty sweet song.
NonstopSnerfzzzz
I don't like the new stuff [i.e. anything off the new album] and I agree with Scouter, the old old stuff with Lacey in the the band was some good shit.

Yeah, Adam Lazzara is responsible though, for creating two great bands ... Brand New and Straylight Run, do to the fact of him getting rid of Nolan and Lacey.

But he did make Breaking Pangea(sp) split though.
emily
ugh, they suck.

I like Taking Back Sunday.
I try to be really open about my music.
i cant stand rap, hip hop, or r&b, or country.
but my friend's dad listens to folk, and im not saying that im a fan of it, but i can tolerate it. haha.
ReD

I don't really mind the difference in members; I liked them
before and after, but there is a difference in it I suppose.

My mom listens to Folk music, too.
I tolerated it so much..I started to like some of it.
It scared me. xD

I've been so for years.
Basically back in their tell all your friends days

they had really good songs back then, too!
i have some in my iPod and people don't believe me its taking back sunday lol
scouterdef

Yeah not many people do ... but it is, specially find it funny when adam isnt the front man and just is in the background playing an instrument and doing background vocals.
Caroline
They're my all time favorite band. not a song they've made I don't love

i completely agree.

but i still think their songs are all really good.
scouterdef

Even though the last two albums have been completely the same... They are alright, probably because when they replaced Nolan with Fred Mascherino, i was mad but i was a big fan of Freds. So it was alright.

Cute Without the 'E'... Bike Scene... I'd be fine if they just left it at Tell All Your Friends.

Yeah, but not all of their changes have been good though.... Keeping John Nolan in the band would have been a lot better. But we can all thank Adam for getting rid of him
dreamsarereal
i enjoy all three cds
but i think my least favorite is where you want to be

Louder Now is my favorite. They played every song from it when they toured with Armor smile.gif That made me happy.
scouterdef

If you like that album, you should listen to 'Tell All Your Friends' because that album blows away 'Louder Now'
samantha
They're alright.
AlmostWhatIWant
I have every TBS song ever. Including acoustics ive gotten from various places. I have yet to find one i dont like.

<3 TBS.
cassiee625
I really like taking back sunday too. They are really good live they have a lot of energy. I was also really glad they toured with armor.

Taking Back Sunday is one of my favorite bands; "A Decade Under The Influence" got me into this whole genre.

Being as such, I like Where You Want To Be more than Tell All Your Friends, and think Louder Now is better than both of them.

My Blue Heaven, Spin, Liar, and MakeDamnSure are great tracks.

Though, A Decade is still my all-time favorite.
on_display
my blue heaven is amazing.
i made a video for makedamnsure
thats reeeeaaaallllyyy good
and i love louder now. all around.
dreamsarereal
my favorite off louder now is divine intervention

"sometimes i swear i can see straight through you..."
dreamsarereal
yeah there's a lot of great lines in the songs on their albums.

like the one that was around forever

"the truth is you could slit my throat and with my one last gasping breath i'd apologize for bleeding on your shirt"

yes their lyrics are great.
i think cute and you're so last summer were their most
famous songs [well up until makedamnsure and all that new stuff that is overplayed]
dreamsarereal
yeah and everyone liked a decade under the influence.

everyone likes makedamnsure
even all the ghetto people haha

the dvd is so addicting, i love it :]
it reminds me of my friends & i too.
Ashley
i LOVE their newer stuff!
Adam sounds manlier
X)

And usually, when i listen to a song a lot, it dies after a little while. But i've been listening to makedamnsure for a LONG time, and for some reason, i STILL love it!
but in the time period of me loving that song, i got sick of liar.
very overplayed.
not even all that good.

my favorite songs by them are:
my blue heaven
miami
devine intervention

smile.gif

Adam Lazzara-"these pants are dead...as you can see, i've stitched them to my best ability, but still they have holes.
So, today, we light them on fire."

That was my FAVORITE part in the whole freaking dvd.
kellay fo fellay
my favorite part is "hey buddy" and "white shoes".

miami's my favorite too (:
_melissa
lmao funny thing is
my bff first saw the dvd the day
we were leaving for san antonion and she spent the night.
SO when we got to san antonio and we went to the zoo,
we were basically calling EVEY animal "hey lil buddy"
lol!!
people would look at us weird
but i guess only we got it.
the we tried making a perequite say "tainted love"
hahh.

i still do the white shoes dance :]

but still my favorite part is when they get in the van
and eddie's like "hey you guys this is like touring in my mom's van again!"
then someone's like "your mom had a vanagain?!"

that part makes me crack up!

sorry for the lifestory i just wrote lol

oh and off of the new cd i reallyyyy
like error: operator.
"sometimes i swear i can see straight through you.."
Ashley
lol
i do the white shoes dance ALL the time.
even when im wearing blue shoes
or gray
or even black.
I just can't help myself X)

Oh, dude, i also like the part where Eddie's chattin online and adam starts pelting him with food.

and cheese tag.
lol
kellay fo fellay
that whole dvd is just fucking amazing.
Ashley
