I performed a search and didn't see anything, so...

Discuss local bands in your area. If they're great and eserve to make it big, if they're terrible, whatever. Discuss and share local talent.

Siamese Guns (www.myspace.com/siamesegunsband)
They're amazing. I'm in a band with the guitarist, but we're not half as good as this band. I really think they have the potential to become hugely popular.
Sounds like: Brand New, The Early November

Bokeh (www.myspace.com/bokehband)
They don't have any music up yet, but they're writing material for the demo they plan to self-record within a few months. Add them and keep up with the writing-process, because I tihnk they're got a lot of potential.
Sounds like: Straylight Run, Death Cab for Cutie

Allot of people have heard of one of our local bands that made it big.
Breaking Benjamen- Sounds like..3 doors down/3 days grace.

Um..Lets see..
40lb head.
The singer has an amazing voice. I'm unsure if they've started a website, because rumor has it they're keeping songs they've wrote pretty quiet. otherwise they just play events like church parties and such. xD

Dude, I love Zolof. Maybe I'm just biased since Anthony Green was in them and I love everything Anthony is involved in, but I think they're really catchy and fun to listen to. laugh.gif

I'm jealous. I've wanted to visit Philly for such a long time now, and you're just like, "Yeah I consider Zolof a local band" Haha, damn.. mad.gif

Haha@you talking your band up and using "they."

My favorite locals that I thought deserved to make it disbanded a couple years ago.

Meanwhile, I'm sure you all know who Pistolita and My American Heart are.

Haha, well I didn't want to make a point of me being in the band or else you guys would think I was being biased and just trying to self-promite. Good job for noticing. wink.gif

Rise With The Fallen (my band)
www.myspace.com/risewiththefallen6
Working on figuing out how to record our unique sound that is a cross between Pink Floyd, new The Ataris, HIM, Sisters of Mercy, Disturbed, and some other metal bands. We're a very unique metal band that uses instruments and sounds like no other and currently need more funding than ever. If we could get more money we'd be able to get some more instruments we wish to use (including an armonica, a theremin, a gong, and some other assorted instruments which I don't remember all the names of them, I just know what they look like and I need to find out what they're called). Until we get more funding we will be making these highly desired instruments, even though they won't be as good as we want them to be and we can't make them all. We also are currently in the proccess of trying to get funding to turn my garage into a studio and get better microphones than the ones we have so we can record our unique sound. Please everyone befriend us, get your friends to befriend us, and get your friend's friends to befriend us, and everyone please subscribe to our blog. Also if anyone might be able to help us out financially or by being able to either donate equipment or help us find cheaper equipment we'd be eternally grateful. Our music is difficult to make and even harder to record, please try and help us do our best to make something truly interesting for everyone to enjoy.

Well, obviously you're gonna be biased and it's self-promotion, but considering all the info you included it's not like it was done shamelessly.
