Warped Tour has sucked for many years now... what makes you think they are going to change this year?

true...every year i want to go for less and less bands (last year i only went for circa survive, which was awesome because i watched them on stage). this year, i dont even know who i would go for.

Last time I went, was with Boysetsfire played in Chicago.... I never hated so many people in my life. I cant remember the main headliner that year, it was like 03?

I think I'm going to go this year. I've been trying to decide. I've read this whole thread, and what I've come up with is that it's a good deal for the price of the ticket - even if I don't like all the bands, it can still be a lot of fun. And pre-sales start tomorrow. That'll save me a few more bucks, so what the hell... I'm going to go. I've got nothing else to do on August 9th. As far as I know. It'll be an experience. I'm all about experiences. I've never been to something like this before. I'm sure I can someone to go with me.

i actually went this year/today.
it was alright, i only had to buy one water bottle at the end of the day, $3, but Papa Johns was $19 for a slice of pizza, fries and a large soda, pissed me off.
i saw From First To Last, Greeley Estates, The Devil Wears Prada, Bring Me The Horizon, the end of Mayday Parade[they started while i saw BMTH and my girlfriend stayed to see them, so i had to go wait by their set for her and yea..], Confide, Norma Jean.

Then while my girl was seeing Say Anything, Bouncing Souls, Relient K, Gym Class Heroes and Angels and Airwaves, i went to the stadium to sit down in the air condition and had to sit through The Human Abstract, Katy Perry, Four Year Strong[they were okay], Horrorpops.

She didn't really see Bouncing Souls or Gym Class Heroes, they were on the left stage, but they were close enough that she could hear them and see them a little, so she basically saw them.

It was pretty good, i'd say it wasn't totally worth the $30ish, but i'll go again next year.

OH, i forgot, some kids were handing out stickers and one had an Armor sticker, so i went and got one and asked if he was on the street team or what, he wasn't. Then they tried to give me some other stickers, but i just kinda said no to all of them, even though i kinda wanted one of the used stickers, gah.

i think the human abstract is pretty good live.
