I mentioned them in another thread, but they definitely deserve their own. They're very power pop California vibe. They were recently signed to The Militia Group, but don't really sound similar to anyone else on that label. They're from LA, but have finally began touring to support their first full length, which will hit stores April 3rd. Here's their myspace.

I really like them. I gave them a listen right after SXSW when my boyfriend returned and said they had approached him for management a few weeks ago. Last week we got their press kit with their album and I haven't stopped listening to it since. I like that they're a three-piece and still sound really full. Good band.

i like what i'm hearing. i'll definitely check more songs out.

Definitely try to see them live if you ever get the chance. They're better live than on recording, which is hard to imagine. They're playing with Rooney next Monday at The Roxy and they're playing The Troubadour and Chain Reaction next month.

Yeah I saw that... I definitely plan on it... I think I'm going to Troubadour. It's hard for me to really get in to a band until I see them live so I look forward to it.

I'm not a big fan of Rooney, but I will keep an eye out for when they come to Michigan, if they ever do

Random.. but I saw Rooney in 05.
They weren't too bad.

Yeah, they're ok. They used to be good in like 2002-2003. Everybody Else has only gotten better since then. Seriously, every time Everybody Else has opened up for Rooney they've totally upstaged them.

Bumping because they're playing The Roxy on Saturday, December 1st. They'll be playing their entire album and a few old songs. I'm so excited.



Their album is getting released in Japan and Korea, and they'll be doing shows in Japan in January. So crazy.
