It's mixed.

I liked blink's last album. But both Angels and Airwaves and (+44) sucked.

So... good chance the new blink album won't be any good.

That, and when i saw Blink's last tour before the break up... their performance was AWFUL. Tom could barely play his guitar at the speed they were playing. It was ridiculous.

1. AVA and +44 had different members, therefore creating a different feel for the music they wanted to create, just because you personally didn't like those bands, i didn't really either, +44 was more like blink than AVA though.

2. You have the think about the fact that they were fighting at that time, which obviously would affect the quality of the show.

Wrong to put it bluntly (sorry). Tom had entire control over AVA. In fact, he used Blink demos in order to create some of the songs from the first album. The only real effect the other members had to the music was that Atom Willard (is that his last name?) is a very plain drummer... that's about it.

(+44) was alright. And you're right, it's the most like Blink (technically if Mark and Travis wanted to continue using Blink-182 they could have legally), but it still lacked. A lot of songs on the album were rehashed from previous songs, or the songs would just be too slow and dull to be any interesting. (ps. the only time in which all members of the band wrote a song together was "When Your Heart Stops Beating" [a song I liked])

And I doubt the live show was effected by that fight. Unless they were purposely trying to play so fast over each other trying to screw each other up (highly unlikely). How they always liked to play live was really fast. But, Tom just couldn't keep up.

-- meh, I hate ranting. I was really into Blink when I was younger haha. I barely even listen to them now though.

Blink has alwys been one of my favorite bands. I think having them back together will be a good thing. AVA and +44 were decent but blink was better. In my oppinion even if new stuff sucks then you can always listen to what they had before. It'll be interesting to see what they put out. Honestly why wouldn't you want them back? It's not like it affects people who won't listen to them. If u don't like them, ignore them.

It doesn't matter if you're a fan or not, using their fight to "excuse" a bad performance is literally an excuse. So actually yes.

It's funny how blink 182 brings about arguments.

Blink sucked when they broke up, they're going to suck when they release an album this year.
